Littlestone Golf Club

Littlestone Golf Club, Romney Marsh, Kent

Littlestone Golf Club boasts 2 magnificent 18 hole golf courses set out on the naturally undulating land on the famous Romney Marsh. The originally Championship Links course, founded in 1888, was designed in part by the highly regarded course architect James Braid.

This traditional links course has  a rich history with both the famous and infamous having graced it’s greens over the past 130 +years.

It is is rated within the Top 100 Golf Courses in England and Top 125 in the whole of the UK and is an Open Qualifying course having hosted the event on 5 occasions, most recently in 2011 .

The club and the course continue to grow in reputation both domestically and globally as visitors appreciate this exceptional course and its proximity to the HS1 train to London and the Channel Tunnel both only a few miles away in Cheriton.

The second course, The Warren, originally a 9 hole course, was extended to 18 holes in the mid 90’s and now boasts a large and thriving membership of its own but all under the Littlestone flag.

Although a slightly shorter course it is no less of a challenge to golfers who may find the Championship course is too long.

This part of Kent enjoys one of the driest climates in the UK and both courses at Littlestone are renowned for their yearlong superb condition where temporary greens and tees are unheard of.

We welcome visitors 7 days of the week and societies are welcome too on specific days. Which ever course you come to play, you are assured of a warm welcome.
